I'm organising a skid pan day at Castle Combe on 18th April, as there seemed to be a lot of interest on the SW area forum. I'm struggling slightly to get a full 12 places filled, so if you're interested have a look at the thread: www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=85012&f=114&h=0 for the details and let me know.

Cheers

Bill

Now there's no way on earth Mrs. B would want to be anywhere near that kind of thing. I'll be me on my own, unless otherwise stated.

So...who's going?

And is anyone driving anywhere near my route? (Probably Portsmouth, M27 to Southampton, A36 to Salisbury, A360 to Devizes, A342 to Chippenham)

Right, this is all booked - and a perfect excuse for a blat out to Castle Combe it was too. I'm not sure what the Japanese tourists wandering around the village made of the Caterham, but there was alot of pointing

The attendees are:
I + wife
incorrigible + wife
yertis + wife
dazren
iguana
luca Brazzi
tja
V8Archie
my friend Suzanne

While I was at CC I had a look at the skid pan. It looks a bit disappointing at first, then I saw someone have a go at the course they do I think we will be sufficiently entertained.

There is quite a good pub in Ford, just down the road, is anyone interested in a pub lunch afterwards.

We meet at 9.30, for a 10.00 start.

Looks like I'll be on the road early then. Mind you I did it in about an hour last time I went up there (on private roads of course officer), 'cause I was running late.

Which entrance are we supposed to use, the paddock?
