Will be going to Bedford for the first time this Saturday...will be there in a very colourful TVR Tuscan S. Just pray it passes the noise tests!

There will be a few of us in our TVR's...ehasler (Ed -Tuscan S) passed the test last time round so hopefully both he and I will pass this time round.

Alan.

Alan - are you and Ed using standard cans or will you be running your CCC noisy jobs?

I'm taking my Ginetta race car for its first shakedown - so hope to get some mileage in as long as it holds together. Psychoburt will also be in attendance.

Where are people staying on the Friday night?

I'd stand no chance in the CCC cans! lol So have already changed to the standard cans in prep for Saturday.

I'll have them on at Bruntingthorpe for VMAX on 21st March

Are you staying in Bedfordshire on Friday night then Alan? I can't take part on the day but would be up for a beer on Friday night if you're in the area. I only live 20 mins from the Autodrome. I did think about coming down to watch on Saturday but you need to be the guest of someone taking part and it costs £25! Bit steep to stand in the pit lane IMHO. Costs less than that to watch proper motorsport for a day! I could understand it if you could passenger but the official line is passengering not allowed unless you're also driving. (not at the same time obviously!!!)

I'll be there in my Caterham - Alf I might have seen you last year if it was the 'Tuscan Trackday' at Keevil?

I'm an ex-double Tuscan owner and an ex Tuscan S owning mate is also coming along in his VX220 Turbo.

I'd say you guys will have a ball on the GT circuit as it's a power circuit so will suit your 400bhp (I've only got 135bhp to play with on the 1KM straight).

The weathers even looking good at the moment (apart from the forecast of -8 Friday night)

Anyway come over and say hello if you spot us there (blue Caterham with large 'PistonHeads' sticker down the side).

cheers,
Mike

m8 Bedford's a doddle. Quite a bit to learn but at least it's flat so you can see what's coming. If you like I'll sit with you for a few laps and show you the lines that work for me or have you booked instruction?

Thanks Washy. I'll look out for the Cerby and come and say hello.

So people can see who's going to be there I suggest adding your name to the calendar!

Guys,

Just posting this incase some of you don't know, I've just had it (re-) confirmed that no passengers will be allowed on Saturday (although I presume drivers can passenger in another car?)

I was told that "passengers" are allowed if you book them in as additional drivers (for £75!). They told me that if you have a driver armband, you will be able to go out as a passenger, however the £25 pit lane access pass does not allow you to be a passenger.
