If anyone needs to exercise their car, there are still some places left on our subscriber's day with Palmersport at Bedford on 11th Feb on a modified GT circuit. Open pitlane, and JP1 drives available. Circuit Driver subscribers price is £125, non-subs £163 (includes 12 month subscription to Circuit Driver). Price also includes bacon rolls, teas etc and buffet lunch. Full info at www.palmersport.com/circuitdriver/

Mel can't get the day off work, so passenger seat will probably be empty! I think they charge extra there for passengers to get pit lane access and go out for rides though.

Just signed up to go. First trackday in the R400 - should be fun.

Roy - Bedford is a great place for a beginner: there are no scary crash barriers, just huge grass run-offs. Also, it's open pit lane, so you can take it at your own pace. Build up your speed slowly to a level where you feel comfortable.

Anybody going to the March 6th day?
Currently thinking about it as the Golf will be ready for its first outing by then.

Yep - I'll be at the March 6th day as well as tomorrow!

Will be with a few other TVRs on the 6th as well, including an S3, Griff, Cerbie and another Tuscan S!

Ed - The S3, Griff, Cerb and Tuscan S wouldn't be a few folk from mid Essex I know by any chance would it?! Should have the Cerb back from 6000mile service in time for this so I'll be coming along too hopefully. Should be a laugh.

May have a quick word with Craigw about this Bruntingthorpe Vmax malarky aswell...

if you don't fancy a JP bacon roll for lunch i can highler recommend The Fox in Riesley

- bout 3 miles from Bedford Autodrome, turn right out the gates, turn right at first journey follow the road into Riesley and its the second pub on the right, large white building

make your presence known and fellower-PHer Adam (the Pedster) may even give you all a discount...

I hope the day is going well today. Was it run on a 2.2 mile reduced GT circuit ? I am there on Saturday for the SELOC day and I see the circuit is cut down a bit due to unfinished construction works. Can anyone tell me which bit has been chopped off so I can understand what the revised layout looks like.
Thanks.

Not having been to bedford before, is it the best lace to play with the Golf? It's only geared to do about 120 in top and really needs a few twisties to play around in.
Looking at the map, it seems to be a pretty fast and flat course.

I'd like to try anglesey, but that is a hell of a journey from my neck of the woods...
