I have just purchased myself a lovely little MR2 aw11 so naturally i want to have a play. Is there anywhere (south yorkshire/north derbyshire) where I can go and test out the car and learn what it can do? I know I will have many smiles in it. its just i need to find out where.

maybe an airfield or a track day?

thanks in advance

try an airfield day at Elvington near York. Be warned that you are likely to get stone chips on the paintwork ....but thats better than hitting tyre walls/armco/ gravel traps at a proper circuit.

Is Donington too obvious
I know it's a proper circuit with armco, etc, but due to it's FIA status the armco is quite far from the track so you've got to be trying hard to hit it
this doesn't mean it's not possible

Donny is closed for re-surfacing at the moment. Re-opens late Feb I think

I think that if you miss the road at the Craner curves whilst flat out, then the only way you are going to stop is by hitting something . Other than that though, a fantastic and very safe circuit.

And if you are worried about being slower than the faster guys - you're not the only one - see here for more!

Are there any indications of track or test days in March available yet?
