Best was a vauxhall VX220 Turbo - handled like a dream and went like the proverbial.

Noble m12 felt like a scaled up version of the VX so that was class too....

Worst was probably a Diablo - felt like a fast truck on quite a twisty circuit. Or maybe the Dodge Viper, which was quick in a straight line, but pants through the corners.

I guess if you have driven nothing less on a track it would be.

For example all I can say is my best would be a Lotus Elise and worst a Ferrari 355 because thats the only 2 cars I have driven on a track (fast).
(The Elise was a lot more fun but in other situations Im sure it would be the Ferrari).

Best car I've driven on a track has to be, surprise surprise, my Radical SR3 Supersport. Stonking, wet or dry.

Worst car, my Passat tow car, oversprung, under damped, changes direction with the speed of an oil tanker

So, not underpowered then? Reckon my towcar could easily "have" your towcar!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention it was underpowered too. But at least it's not a BMW.

Getting a Toerag V10 TDi to test in the New Year, then let's see whose turbot diesel tow barge is quicker!

Would be quite a laugh to have a tow car contest ... we could get Jeremy along with the Audi as well !

Best car is my current car - a Boxster S. The cars that I've driven on track include a Caterham,Integra R, Accord R, Elise, VX220, Audi TT, SLK, Clio Sport thingy, Evo, BMW 3, Chimaera and Cerbera. The worst was my Cerbera, it scared me silly (probably because, as I later found out, the suspension wasn't properly set up, and it was the middle of winter!).

Best: Smart City Coupe - handles reasonably well considering...
Worst: Smart City Coupe - 1st/ 2nd/ 3rd gear feel quick - sadly track work didnt involve any of them. Also, how the hell does it find an extra 10 degrees of lean that simply cannot be provoked on road???

I need to drive more cars on track...
Will have a go in the Cerbera next - should be an interesting comparison

My Radical SR3 has to be the best so far, its hard to appreciate how good these cars really are if you have not driven one!

The worst by some margin was my friends Venturi, lots of turbo lag combined with a very twitchy chassis, which initially under steered badly which was then followed by bucket loads of oversteer provided for some very "interesting" moments around Castle Coombe last year.
