Bruntingthorpe, Sun 28th December anybody?
Discussion
Hi folks,
Is there anyone out there who'd like an opportunity to blow the cobwebs away after Christmas?
There is an event being put on at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground near Leicester on Sunday 28th December.
Open pit lane on the normal circuit layout from 10:30 to 15:30 for the cost of £100. There will probably only be about 30 cars (best guess at the moment) there in total so there should be plenty of space. As well as track access it also features passenger laps in a Lotus and Caterham with a professional race driver; Guest Car Auto Test; Skid Car – the ultimate lesson in car control; Off Road Course and an optional extra of a Tuscan 2 seater race car.
The company organising this goes by the name of 'Behind Your Wheel' but I don't know any more detail about them. I have picked this up from Jay Shepherd (Tuscan Challenge runner up in 2002) who will be in attendance.
There will be marshalling, paramedic cover and fire and rescue crews provided and food should be available.
I'm not now able to get back on here until Saturday evening so if anybody has any queries then please ring me on my mobile 07780 688292. I'll then put you in contact with the organisers.
Thanks,
Martin
