The people who they book this with (H&M services) are just down the road from me (NW Kent). They are actually a plant hire company who have expanded out to 2 other operations "Diggerland" which is like a kids fun day with bouncy castles, mini diggers etc and geared up for a family day out and gets really good press locally. Also the JCB racing which they do all year (its actually best this time of year in all the shite) if there's enough interest I've no problem going and sorting it out with them for a Pistonheads day, along the same lines as karting the other weekend. Ted???

Oh yes I think they have similar events in the NW and Devon

The Land Rover racing sounds a bit of a giggle too

If there's sufficient interest I'd certainly be interested in organising an event.

Follow the 'Adults' link from the home page (nudge, nudge).

I'm up for any/all of JCB racing, dump truck racing and Land Rover racing

Jeremy, Do you think you might fare better in an 8.5 tonne JCB than a kart then?

I'm expecting the power-to-weight ratio not to be so adversely affected

Unless of course I get another underpowered one ... mutter, mutter, whinge, whinge
