I know its all TVR's, Porsches and other proper sports cars around here, but thought you might like to see a freind of mines track day car...its...er...different!

He was hurling it around Silverstone last weekend until he lost a piston.

There are a bunch of us competing in similar cars and we had a lot of fun at Colerne in July, especially when we wupped the Astons.

I did one of the "training" days at Prescott a couple of years ago (strongly recommended, BTW) and someone else on that did it in a Mulsanne Turbo. Sat in the queue for his run reading the Times with his crash helmet on. Cool, or what? They don't have a LSD, so I suspect he did about a grand's worth of Pirellis, though, judging by the huge clouds of tyre smoke...

And having read the URL, I'm *so* glad that there are still so many bonkers petrolheads in the world. Respect, or what?
