Hi Piers, it was a good day wasn't it! Going by the pics I think my toyos came off a bit worse than yours! Has your Mrs recovered from the spin? I think I have just about managed to calm Debs down after her first drive on track! Great to meet you, see you at the next one then?

Come on then guys, the question everyone wants to know after a day at Donnington, is - were they flat or not...?

well she was ok on the way to work this morning...
although don't think she'll want to passenger for a while!! women eh?!?!?

Likewise.. and I'll definately be at the next one, providing I can save up a bit for the next set of tyres... I think mine might last one more track-day.. just! Oh, also, my brakes are now completely shot!!

had to limp home very slowly, and am now waiting for some GreenStuff from mx5parts.

Great Day!

Piers,

My tyres looked a lot worse than yours also. I was on Eagle F1s and the scrubbed rubber almost completely filled up the grooves! I had to pick bits out!

Also, the only time I overdid it was when I was in front of you again. Hmmm. is that a bad omen? I don't think you had your camera running in that session did you?

Great fun though.

and yes.. they were flat!!

Ijaz, no, sadly I think I missed that.. I'll have a check through the footage though.. which session was it in (roughly).

Hi jazzy you need DivX player, which is a free download.

Piers, any footage of my fantastic spin at coppice? I am still finding gravel in the strangest of places!

BenJC, just post this question on the OC site:

Downloaded DivX - but saw the reviews saying its full of spyware. I hate that stuff, especially on my office Laptop. Any alternatives? why DivX, special encoding or what?

BenjC, sadly not...

the only "mishaps" I have are the one in the video on the silver mk2 chucking up a cloud of dust.. and me passing a silver mk1 parked up on the kerb at redgate.. didn't actually see it spin though.

JazzyB, DivX gives massively smaller files than just about anything else, for the same quality..

I'll put a spyware-free version up on my website tonight when I get home..
