Anyone been to Longcross?

I have sprinted and crashed there...
Banked circuit with no run off which means very very quick. Even with chicanes to slow us down I was hitting close to 140 in parts.
The Snake is one of the most awesome set of corners I have come across.
Main problem is that there is little or no run off and you don't want to go off as there are trees and hardthings all over the place.

I used to work there, done many many laps in lots of different vehicles. It is an excellent, low key circuit but as mentioned has very little run offs.
The snake is indeed a great series of corners with differing cambers and was reputedly where they filmed the original (Michael Keaton) Batman film where he drove toward the cave throught he trees.....??
McLaren used to use the facility a lot for the F1 test drives and one of their drivers lapped in 51 seconds from a standing start. It is a 2 mile circuit!
