I'm doing the Octagon Rally Experience at the end of August - just wondered if anyone's done this so they can give me the MO?
I presume you get shown the ropes by an instructor, then have a go yourself?
Did the single seater one last year (Formula First), which was OK, but I thought we spent a bit long tooling round behind the instructors in their Protons(!) being shown the correct line.

I work at Sillystone amongst other circuits.
As usual they are geared up (forgive the pun) for the lowest common denominator. Hence you 'tooling' around behind pace cars while the others got up to speed. If you wish, contact me for my feelings on best VFM.
However for your rally experience...
When is it booked for? I may be there!

You will sign on..
Have a briefing...
Be teamed up with another 'Billie'
Drive to the rally stage
Helmet up
Drive the Pug on the special rally handling stage
(mainly concrete with gravel on top)
you swap with your car partner.
Then you both get a fast lap or 2 with the instructor.

At least the Rally days are never rained off like some circuit days can be :-)

Hope this helps
