I am booked in for a full trackday at Bedford Autodrome this Sat 2nd August, for which I have paid £195.

Sadly my Tuscan has decided not to play ball, and looks like not being repaired in time(I know, I know, my fault for buying a TVR). Anyway, having done a number of trackdays in it, I have decided to purchase something more track specific, such as a Caterham or elise in the near future. Therefore it would seem an ideal opportunity to test drive a suitable replacement.

I am hoping that somebody would either be willing to rent me their car for the day (particularly if you are selling it) or if you would like to bring it along for free and I will pay for all the costs, just to share the driving.

Otherwise the whole day will be wasted. Here's hoping!

Why not try Bookatrack? They have a Caterham Academy (1.6 VX, okay) and a Caterham Superlight (1.6 Rover, superb) to rent on a half daily or daily basis.

I used to have a Seven (or 2) and can recommend them as being very much fit for purpose. The Elise is also good, but I'm a seven man at heart - they just seemed a tad friendlier at the limit

If you want to try an Elise or Caterham (though not on the track) try Haydon cars who rent one or both for road use at fairly reasonable rates.

If you want to try an Elise on circuit.
You could do worse than book for an Experience at Rockingham. I instruct at most circuits inc. the Rock and Silverstone who both do Elise experiences. The Rock is better VFM.
If you just want 1 to 1 instruction though. I'm happy to oblige.

Best regs
Steve

Thanks for the offer, but my Tuscan is now fixed. However, if you are local and fancy popping down, my passenger seat is free. Reg number w772xgc.

Cheers
