I did one a couple of years ago at Silverstone(I didn't know they were still running) and would thoroughly recommend it. I had a fantastic time. Rob Barff (TVR Le Mans 2003) was runnning my course.
Basic format is driver briefing 30/40 mins then out onto the track. Two drivers are assigned to each car taking it alternately in two sessions of 3 or 4 laps each with an instructor.
Finally instructor takes you round for a sideways demonstration! It really makes you appreciate just how good F1 drivers are, that low to the ground you don't see half the corners coming.
