Anyone with experience of the different makes of roll cages.

I've finally decided to sod the insurance and get a full cage regardless....

The car is a sapphire cosworth 2wd with coilovers and will be striped etc.ect... I have no hang ups about racing it and just want to track it, so I want to maximise it's effectivness in the car not just for rolling (I have rolled it on track at 145mph+ before) but mainly for handling so it needs to meet each supspension turret.

I've seen Sparco, OMP, safety devices... but which ones are best or is a special fabricated one the way to go as I don't care about FIA regs.

I also suppose I will set a budget once I know how much the options cost.

Any guidance will be gratefully received.

tell the insurance you have "fitted safety bars".
if you say roll cage they get in a panic and charge loads

At the moment I'm not insuring it as the premiums were getting silly..... However I have found that Greenlight will cover the car for a good price, don't mind me adding a roll cage.... and will cover track days for a modest charge.
