Classic Car Only Track Days

Does anyone know of any classic car specific track days as don't really fancy mixing it up with 911's and Evo's in my MG Midget.

i know the Rma went to do the classic paddock club last year
but i don't know if there were enough take up for it.
sad as it is it looks like to many classic ownwer's like to dust there car more than drive it ...... not me

Why not? You probably won't be 'mixing it', they SHOULD be past you easily and out of your way, and you USUALLY don't have to worry too much about being held up behind them. Have you tracked your Anglia and your Giulia - they look very nice BTW

There are days at Combe, Goodwood and Donington that are Alfa/105 specific,
and 'MGs on Track' do what's written on the tin.

The MG car club arrange their own Trackday's. Think it's called MG's on track or something like that.

Dependant on numbers it's usually exclusively MG's or shared with another car club like the Lotus Owners Club or similar.

Holy thread revival, Batman!

I found this through the search function, and wondered if there was anything suitable operating nowadays? I’ve seen companies like CKL run occasional trackdays at Goodwood, but thought given the amount of classic car owners in the UK and the prevalence of everyone’s favourite ‘the restomod’ that there might be a company that organise trackdays for older/classic cars?

Yes you can turn up and participate in regular trackdays with an older car, but tbh (speaking in general specifics from the few I’ve done over the past couple of years) it would probably be more fun and provide fewer stoppages/red flags driving the wrong way around the M25 at 4PM on a Friday.

MSV put on road car only days. Essentially it’s so they can run on Thursdays with a lower decibel limit and the council won’t get mad. I’ve done two and it’s very relaxed. One red flag in two trackdays!! Not exactly what you’re looking for but might entice you.

Single marque track days are probably your best bet

There's more camaraderie, and fewer wild cards

Clubs are good for for this, although you may have to settle for a weekday at the beginning or end of the season depending on the clubs budget
