Anyone attending? If so, post a message with the car you're driving.

I'll be there in a Silver Porsche 993 RS, and I know of another RS that will be there along with a Caterham Superlight R. Spoke to Mark Hutchison today and he'll be there with his tyres. Should be a good day...

I'll be there. Red Bull Blue TVR Cerbera. Looking forward to it but it seems we may have a bit of rain!

What's the noise limit? Any places?

(wondering if I can bring the SR3)

Unfortunately not. I have booked the PCGB day at Silverstone for two years in a row, and have had to pull out at the last minute due to work committments, so I thought I would give it a miss

Can't remember off the top of my head, but I know there's a static and drive-by, which are less strict than Goodwood or Castle Combe (you often see 964 RS's at Bedford which can struggle at other quiet circuits). The most memorable car I've seen that failed the noise test at Bedford was a racing Ferrari F40!

Re: Noise Limit

Static is 101 dbA @ 4500rpm and driveby is 87 dbA @ 20m.

Strangely, the static noise test on RMA days at Bedford does not distinguish between car/bike engines, which means passing it in a 'bike engined car is a breeze (4500rpm is like "fast idle" on my car )

Two places on the circuit where the driveby is measured ... first one is on the left just before the 1st chicane, second one is hard to describe but it's on a straight just between two tight/slow left handers.
