Is anyone interested in going to the classic and sports car track day at castle combe on 30th august? If we attend as a club we will get free entrance and a 15min track pass that can be used up until 11am. Even if you do not want to take your car on the track you can still park with the club then watch the action on track, entrance is normally £8 and £20 for a track pass which gets you about 15 mins on track. Extra time can be bought on the day.

Can’t guarantee the free tickets yet but will be speaking to combe tomorrow and need to know if anyone is interested in going if they are still available.

Yes I'm interested in going, as long as they will allow a kit car on track.

I’m sure the Tiger will is classed as a sports car, they used to make them just down the road from where I worked, and we often used to MOT the customer’s cars and fit the tyres etc.

Noise limit's at Combe? Probably to low for me? I Ask as I would like to but need to sort time off etc, no point if I am too loud.

Have spoken to Castle Combe, they still have spaces, the EVO 7 may be a problem as the person I spoke to is not sure they class that as a sports car, she did say you could come along and try to get out late in the day but that will be in the paid sessions.

The Tiger will be fine, noise is limited to 100 Db.

Ok Ben I’ll add your name, Shame you won’t be able to get on JMorgan.

We’re limited to 8 cars and a couple of spaces have gone to the Mid Kent TVR group already.

How is a rally car not a sportscar - has rallying somehow lost it's sports category?

They won't want my M5 either then!

I suppose they only want traditional style sports cars or classic cars, unfortunately I doubt the M5 would be allowed, I checked to make sure people didn’t have a wasted journey, your welcome to try though if you want!
