Depends on the cirtcuit and organiser!

Most Octogon/BHLG circuits want to see your driving licence.

Most airfields don't care!

oh dear , how much was you over was it your first time and what reason was you stopped for all could have an impact on how long you will get banned for . if you get a good judge you might only get a year plus you can do a drive wise course that will get you a third off your ban the course tells you of the evils of drink driving total of sixteen hours over 4 saturdays or 8 evenings very boring but worth it. let me know how you get on . i did the same thing and put my cerb up for sale but could not sell it in the end

good luck

3 times... and i destroyed my golf conv bt rolling it end to end then barrelled it a cpl of times into someones garden...., i caught a taxi back from london, alll the way home but stopped at the station to pick up my car... only had one mile of country roads to do... had been asleep for one hour thought i was fine, next thing i was in the back of the car with it on its roof... plod picked me up whilst i was walking home, case is on tues... got a brief.. but no much hope. don't really wanna sell the car.. but it will rot if its not driven for 3 years... whats insurance like after... could be a bit tricky, after all my cars quite modified, so it was hard in the first place....

let,s just hope you get a good judge , I think you need to plead that you was silly to drive but did not mean to .
plus you never drink and drive ,i suppose the insurance will not pay out because you was over the limit ,you cuold explain the cost,s that you have already incurred due to your stupid mistake put on thick , they might take it into consideration.
my insurance went up from £750 to £1050.
what mods have you had done mine has got a brand new engine ,clutch and bell housing , new radiator new starter motor and ecu unit all due to blow up in folembray last september plus new nitrons and sports exhaust

my insurance covers me, no clause for being pissed,

the cerbera has redline adjustables, different chip, air filters etc, runs 18 inchs with toyos, sports exhaust with no cats, has a gearbox from nick cresswell who builds the ones in the tuscan racers, first four gears are close ratio, straight cut with dog clutches.. so you don't use a clutch, infact you don't really lift off just pull it back a notch and keep flying, same on the way down, left foot hard on the brakes.. blip the throttle and bang bang bang down through the box..... best thing i ever did to the car.. cuts your a to b time down incredibly and the acceleration is awesome!

Sounds great, did you have this done, what sort of cost? Any issues with it?

Good luck for tomorrow.

thanks for the thought guys.. and i don't need any redlines... as the car won't be moving much for a while...lol.

the gearbox is a pure racebox in the first four gears, so after a full season of trackdays it will need a hasty rebuild, or a years use etc... but inspite of this it is awesome, i leave it in all the time, once you get used to it you wouldn't want anything else.. its a little rough till u get usd to the timing and boom you are away, you can use a clutch on it if you want, its just better without, i remember it cost somewhere around 3 grand, but its worth any penny, if you want speak to nick cresswell on 01782 594101
