Binbrook next saturday?

Any PH'ers going to be there on the 14th? I've been told retro cars mag are going to be there so I'll be taking my old Datsun 510 out for a play I think.

Yep me and mrs infernored will be there, in a ford puma of all things! its her first track day (driving) and she's a little nervous so I thought it best to use something erm, not overpowered! if any other pistonheaders are going come and say hi, will be in a green puma with pistonheads sticker in the rear window!

Ah, might bump into you then. Haven't actually organised it yet but Colin Jebson only called me yesterday to ask if I'd bring the Datsun along for Retro Cars. I guess if I'm goin to be there I might as well get out and play

Will do. Hope it's dry too as last time I was out (Cadwell) it chucked it down all day A mate of mine is coming along too. His car should be a hoot. It's a tatty 1976 Datsun saloon with a 1.8 turbo in it. It's quite a handful on the road so we can expect lots of sideways action from it at Binbrook ..especially if it's wet. In the dry it should suprise a few people as it's pretty quick.

Saw you there but didn't get a chance to pop over and when i did you had already left! Doh! Green Puma, right?
I spent the day struggling for grip through a very bad tyre choice. I expected rain so had equipped the car accordingly. I did bring slicks only to find they fouled the new brake callipers I fitted.Aargh! So I had to run on some very unhappy and somewhat hot rain tyres. Must have taken half the life out of them (between spins :-)
