End of Park straight, Mansfield and mountain section is pretty heavy on the brakes, I've only done it on bikes, so wouldn't like to comment on the tyre question.

It's a great track though, I'm there 28th September, that'll be the 3rd time this year.

Have a good time.

Drove Cadwell in July on a sunny day in the CSL.

Was terrified of stories about damp and barriers etc so took it really careful for the morning session and let the light damp dry off before pushing harder.

Slowly though i picked up some courage and pushed harder and harder but within limits and had one of the best track sessions ever. The end of the day the circuit was deserted for about 40 mins and managed a continuous 20 laps without interruption and loved every minute.

Hall Bends, the Hairpin and Barn were all very tight and need respect all day as there is not much room for error, but overall loved it.

Try this link for a good demo..

Seconded. Its a wonderful circuit and very rewarding when you get to know your way round it.

Another fan of Cadwell. It is tight and does suit smaller cars for racing but thats not to say its no good for larger cars on track days when you don't need to overtake all the time.

I had loads of fun in my M3 GT there and a month or two ago when I took the CSL.

I only live 15 miles from the place but went there for the first time a few weeks back and it is a great track to drive, been to silverstone gp, oulton full, brands indy, snett and bedford and it is easily up there with these tracks for driver pleasure.
Beware the tight nature of the circuit though as when I was there someone in an evo6 rolled the car and trashed it completly at barn so keep your wits about you.

Hey Thanks All
Im really looking forward to it.
I have quite a lot of track day experience mainly at my local track Castle Combe. Ive also done Brands indy, donnington, silverstone GP, Llandow, Bedford.
Sounds like I need to try Oulton as well !
Anyone recommend a good B&B?

Thanks

Mark
