Hi, anyone help? I've no idea how loud 98dba is and this is the limit for Croft. I've got a Clio 172 which is standard except for a stainless steel exhaust - Powerflow I think - fitted by the previous owner. It seems fairly loud to me, but is it too loud?

At Bedford my 172 with full magnex system only measured 89Db

You'll get past a 98Db limit no problem. I think even the decatted Yozzasport systems only just miss a 95Db limit

Thanks Mac, that's great news. I'd no idea how tight a 98dba limit is in reality, you've put my mind at rest.

Cheers,

Steve

My friend has a 172 with a magnex exhaust fitted, he was fine at Donnington which also has a 98db limit.

Does your Clio still have the cat fitted as this does a good job of keeping the noise down.

An e36 m3 without the cats and a powerflow system registered 109db when tested eek
