As you will well know by now I had a great day

One of the all time great trcak days
Sun clear track and loads of driving.

But

I feel pity on this guy
He is a very good driver but something was added to his tea at lunchtime?

That's a shame. I think I recognise the Tuscan from previous TVRCC Track Days - did the guy who drives it have long hair, fairly thin chap, and the car had a fairly distinctive number plate?

If it's who I'm thinking of, he's certainly done a few track days and from the times I've seen him on track, is certainly not an out and out lunatic, so very bad luck. - Show me a professional racer who never had an off!

My sympathies to the owner, and I'm glad to hear that driver and pasenger were OK.

Pretty sure I did an EVO trackday at Snett last year and this guy was there - very quick down the straights (its a Tuscan!) but no loony driving that I witnessed, all very neat and tidy. Unlucky, but glad driver's OK...

Hey, thanks for the photos of my somewhat mangled Tuscan and yes both me and my passenger(a track day virgin) are unhurt. Hopefully it is mainly bodywork damage and equally hopefully it will be covered by the insurance - though I'll not be completely sure of that until I drive it away from the garage in some months time. Thanks also for all the offers of help, lifts etc but especially to Stuart who foolishly volunteered to fill the boot of his blue Tuscan with all my assorted crap and drive it down and into London for me.

I will learn an IMPORTANT LESSON from this though. Just because the guy in front is going slower and apparently pulling over to one side it doesn't mean he's letting you past. He might not know you are there, even if you have been following for a while so check whether he (or she) is indicating. I'm probably going to spend a TVRless (indeed anycarless) summer thinking about that. . .
