keevil monday 6th.....westfield - anyone going????

got my first track day in my own car on monday, can't wait! Is anyone else off to keevil, looks as though its gonna be sunny! And just on the off chance that someone might know does anyone have a rough idea of what the noise db level is gonna be on a westy fitted with a zetec engine?

Sadly i cant make it this monday. i have been there before but my car was too noisy to get on. I was at Castle Combe yesterday and there were a few Caterfields, many were running add on silencer tail pipes. My car was reading 130Db when at Keevil but i think you will get away with it.

If I remember correctly it's 105db max

i hope thats at full revs, getting a little concerned that my car wont pass the noise test??

Last time I went there it was 98db at 2/3 revs or 4 or maybe 4,500 revs, can't remember which. Definately 98 though as I didn't know what mine was not having taken it on a track before, sat there with the revs rising and came out at 96.5 !!

We were there - Me in Black Elise and friend in his Ruby Red Elise. What a great day! The Motorsport-events people really are a nice bunch!

the people running it were all really nice, it was a great day! Think i saw you their, i was in the dark green westy with the cream interior, im off to colerne on saturday now, can't wait!!
