Righto,

Doing my 1st trackday soon, and am looking for the following:

- Camcorder mount
- gloves - I know it sounds poncy, but I'm getting sweaty hands thinking about it already! So I'm thinking a thin pair might be a good idea?
- one of those lapbelt thingies, that keep the seatbelt tight.

Question is can anyone recommend suitable suppliers of these sort of things? I'd really like to try on the gloves 1st, so any stockists in the SE (Berkshire/Surrey), would be handy.

Thanks in advance,

Andy.

Who is the track day with?

If it's Gold Track then they have someone on site who sells track days supplies and they fitted my CG lock free, not that it's dificult but bought before I went into the briefing and it was all fitted perfectly when I came back out. It's a two minute job and was £45 and is easily the best value for money add on I've put on the car.

Got my gloves from Grand Prix Racewear at Silverstone

Try http://www.b-hague.co.uk/Mounting%20Brackets.htm

For camcorder mounts. Not cheap but very professional.

if you have no roll cage then the suction mount works very well.

I have one on the inside of my screen and i have never had any problems with it (using DV Camcorder).

Also works well on the bedroom window!

CG lock is only £32 delivered from carlimits.com. They are well worth the money.

the cg-lock allows you to tighten the seatbelt across the lap section (like an aircraft seatbelt) keeping your hips firmly planted in the seat, avoiding sliding and hip rise on hard cornering. see loads more at www.cg-lock.co.uk (we recently launched into the off-road market and soon to sell in the child restraint market too...they work great keeping the kids safely tethered!)

I found www.fastfilms.co.uk the best selection and least expensive video equipment and mounts (inside and out!)
