well, the gremlins have stuck yet again. My car was running fine last week. Went to give it a final check over prior to my trackday tomorrow and the selector rod in the gearbox has jammed!! no idea how is happened, it was fine last week, now I can't even move the gearlever. Haven't got any time to take the box out, my spare gearbox is 150 miles away at my uncles and to change it I have to take the engine out! So my £139 trackday booked for tomorrow is now off!! I'm more than a little pissed off right now but in the true spirit of locost I'm quite happy for someone to take my place. I don't get any refund as I've cancelled too late but I presume I can donate my place to someone else so if anyone wants it give me a ring on 07763 143238 and I'll give you the details. If you want to pay me something towards it ( and to pay for my gearbox repair!! ) then it would be much appreciated. Don't all ring at once. The day is sessioned into novice/inter/expert. It's in the expert class so if your a novice then it's probably not for you.
