Hi all,

I've only posted in this PH forum a couple of times before - all to ask questions (sorry!) to help me prepare for a trip to Da Ring in August. Hopefully when I get back I'll be able to answer questions in future rather than just asking them smile

I'm not a serious trackday enthusiast but want to maximise my Ring experience when I'm there. I'm happy to take my TVR S2 round for a couple of laps at a pace we are both comfortable with - I've read too many horror stories on here of accidents from novices pushing too hard - and had intended to book the Ring taxi to see the scenery rushing by at a quicker rate.

Problem is we will be there on Monday evening 20/8 (after watching the Le Mans GT's at Spa for the weekend) and the taxi isn't running. Cos I'd rather not jump into any old car with some unknown wannabe racer and end up in hospital does anyone here know of any alternatives to the taxi, i.e. reputable locals / Pistonheaders who'd be happy to take a passenger for hot lap or 2?

Thanks, Longers
