As it seems customary for a thread to be posted for each full weekend of TF out there, I thought I'd post to see if anyone else is going to be around. I'll be out there on my own in a black RX8. Come and say hi if anyone spots me around.

Any of you interested in a professonal coaching at the track on July 28th and 29th. I'm
Oliver from Germany and have done more than 4000 laps in racing and coaching. So in case you want to improve your lap times or find the correct ideal line refer to my service.

See a fast lap (8:35 min.) in a Lotus Exige S one of our participants drove just recently:

Who knows? But I've done 56 laps in my S2000 now. And it feels fine. Clearly take it easy if it's wet, but that goes for any car TBH.

Is Oliver Grams approved by GmbH? I was under the impression that only Ron Simons 75 Experience, Zakspeed and BMW Fahrertraining could offer professional instruction during Touristenfahrt.

There are a good many PHers who could probably offer a similar if not superior service for a bier or two...

Looks like someone from the UK had a bad day in their S2000 frown

Be careful. Although there are plenty of S2000 owners who don't end up on the back of Bongard's truck, I've noticed a disproportionate amount of Uk-registered cars fall off. 'Lively' handling (esp on early cars) and a lack of stability control coupled with some very polished and slippery surfaces may be to blame. Just make sure your colleague leaves some margin.

Perhaps this is why there are no dates scheduled for the Nordschleife on his website...

I was I quite interested in Olivers claim until I was given the prices, for that kind of money I'd be expecting Walter Rohl!

He seems a bit like the tooth fairy. Nobody has seen him there, but his cards keep showing up under the wipers on the better cars.

Oh God. Now I have this mental image of him stalking around outside the Pistenklause with his penis tucked between his legs.

I believe that particular S2000 had spun in Werseifen earlier in the lap.
It looked as though he got off scot free there, but didn't learn from the experience nad managed to find the armco further down the road.

i think we will be taking it easy for quite a few laps. Not intending on breaking any records! I know i have lost the back end of the S2000 once and have no desire in hitting any armco!

So the car is ready then Mac? I take it Andy's taking the Elise then? Paul (posted above) came with us on the last trip .... we all arrived home in one piece, but with pockets a little lighter then when we started. Great weekend for the weather last week ... all sunburned!

Highlight was getting stuck in a car park elevator in Amsterdam with 8 other sweaty blokes ...
