Found on another forum. Made me smile...

Understeer is when you hit the armco with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the armco with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the armco. Torque is how far you take the armco with you. Spoilers and bodykits are how much of the armco you take with you. Rollcages and windownets are how much of a mess you leave on the armco.

which is better? oversteer or understeer?

understeer:
you approach a sharp right turn at 60 mph. you turn the wheel, nothing happens you skate off the road hit the tree head on and die.

oversteer:
you approach a sharp right turn at 60mph. you turn the wheel the back steps out, spins you round 180 degrees and you crash into the tree and die.

therefore it turns out oversteer is better becasue you don't see the tree that kills you smile
