Went there with Bookatrack.com and hired one of their Caterhams.

It's fantastic. The circuit has definitely grown up. Drove the Coastal circuit which has a good mix of corners and loads of gradient.

It's definitely worth the journey to North Wales...

Went there for Saturday, Sunday and Monday with Bookatrack. Coastal circuit on Saturday and Monday was favourite. GP on Sunday was good to do but would choose Coastal every time from now on.

The new development is well worth the trip from anywhere in the UK.

As usual Bookatrack ran a great 3 days. Big thanks to Stuart for getting me back on track on Saturday afternoon after my exhaust broke.

I was there all weekend and although I only drove on Saturday I agree with Barry completely smile Thanks again for the passenger laps on Monday by the way, that Noble is something else!

Echoing the comments above. I was there on Saturday too. The Coastal circuit was great, a real treat and we will definitely be going back soon. Thoroughly recommended.

Circuit was ace!! I love the Corkscrew section . . . just wish the SC had a bit more acceleration.

BIG THANKS to Barry for the passenger laps . . . was SO much fun . . . gave me an understanding of why I felt like I was standing still when you passed me on the Saturday lol!

Should really post up so peeps can look out for one another at the track days - it's always good to put names to faces biggrin

I heard it's a quick track, so not such good news for slower cars ?

There are 3 configurations and I only drove the Coastal circuit. Although the back section is very quick there are plenty of slow corners, including the corkscrew. I wouldn't say it is no longer suitable for slower cars. Was great in a Caterham, and there were MR2's and MX5's there that didn't have a problem.

It's not a fast circuit like Silverstone is a fast circuit. It's just a bit quicker than the old Anglesey.

Some of us mr2's did find it a little frustrating having to pull over and let the faster cars past all the time. I think Cadwell's more suited to the less quick cars.

There did seem to be a huge differential in speed between the mr2s (plus other road cars) and more focussed machinery on the coastal circuit. Fast or slow, everyone was compromised in traffic around the fast part at the back of the circuit.

Jo & I were there in our supercharged MK1 MR2 the whole weekend. We drove Saturday and Monday.

We found Saturday morning a bit tedious having to pull over for the faster cars, but in the afternoon once confidence was up, got to grips with the track and speed was up we had a really good time cool

Sunday was spent fitting new pads to the car, blagging passenger rides and sightseeing (bedding in the new pads).

Monday was better as there was much less traffic. Managed to get quite a few clear runs. Also got some awesome passenger rides in a Caterham - excellent goonage!
Was good to meet you Barry. Next time I'll make more of an effort to blag a passenger ride biggrin
We were also very impressed with the wet laps at the end of the day. I was amazed at how much grip was available in the MR2 in the wet.

Some excellent photos Furtive thumbup

Did a CircuitDays event last week. Despite more red flags than a tifosi rampage at Monza, I managed to get a good look at the new track.

The new Coastal circuit looks great, very tricky but flowing, with a good mix of fast and slow bends.

The GP circuit adds half a mile, but cuts out the Corkscrew. A bit like the GP loop at Donington, it spoils the flow of the lap.

Highly recommended - but only if it is the Coastal circuit.

Having just done the Coastal last Saturday in my MR2 MK1 I have to say I love it, more that I thought. Neither tricky nor requiring power (which my car doesnt have), but with a really well thought array of bends, and not just left handers. driving
