hello all..
i would like to take my son for a track day however he is only 16. does anyone know the rules or what is required for him to do this.

A lot of circuits do young driver training but I think most of the regular trackday companies insist on you having a driving license so that would rule him out of those.

Might be worth giving somewhere like Llandow a call though as they are a bit more "off the beaten track" compared to the more corporately owned tracks like Donington etc, so may be able to fit you in with a bit of exclusive track time or at least advise on what you could do to get him on track.

Try somewhere like MotorsportVision who do '13+' driving experiences on circuits like Brands Hatch, for a reasonable fee. Only requirement is height.

He can do that on our days/eveings at Silverstone and days at Donington/Goodwood but he must be accompanied by an ARDS instructor.
