Just spent 3 days at Spa. Sorry to have to say so, but the lay-out changes are a step back. OK, the bus stop wasn't one of the great corners, but the chicane they have put in place is even worse. The approach to the chicane is now a straight line instead of the more challenging approach previously. And the start finish line is now as wide as a 3-lane motorway to minimise the risk of a pile-up of formula one cars at the start. Of, there is more space coming out of La Source and there is some pretty useless extra run-off space in the corner before Blanchimont, but none on the inside of Blanchimont. Luckily there is still Eau Rouge, Pouhon and Blanchimont though...

Yes Tom, I agree with you. The changes are for the worse! Spa is still an awsome track, but this has taken away from it for sure. Shame it has gone this way, but what do you expect from F1, always ruining the great track with "safty" concerns and wanting bigger and better pit lanes.
