Anyone from here off to Croft on Sunday.

I'll the there in the Pug 205 again (providing we don't break it again ). 1988 and French doesn't seem to give the height on reliability when ragged to 8k.



Hope it's dry cos we've no wet weather tyres !!! (Cut slicks or R888s !)

Yeah, I am heading down from Aberdeen to Croft this Sunday for the afternoon sesh. Really looking forward to it, only ever been to Knockhill before. Bringing my Clio 197!

Who did you book this trackday through and how much did it cost? I'm doing one on the Saturday with BookaTrack for £175 and didn't realise there was one on the Sunday too.

Top day. Ran on Toyo R888's for the first time. Quite stunning, but still couldn't match compadre in his Clio 197, hells teeth that thing goes well !
We don't have the top end straight line speed in our Pug, but on the corners we can cling on well.

Plagued by further electrical gremlins later in the day following on from the crank sensor getting obliterated by the alternator fan at our last outing at Croft. Strangely couldn't get more than 5800rpm out of it in the late afternoon (Should rev to 8k)... weird ECU / sensor issue going on.

Was a bit slimey in the wet too !

Mark - musta been another clio 197 there yesterday. Something came up last minute for me which meant I could make it down from Scotland. Hopefully will make it down soon though, Dave
