BEDFORD EVENING JUNE 1ST

Anyone here going? Some rain forecast at the moment (although these long range forecasts move all over the place) fingers crossed!!!

i was thinking about going. Did an evening there in the wet last week on the SW circuit and thought evenings were quite good for getting a fair number of laps in without missing too much work or upsetting the missus by being away at the weekend.

Will see if i can get a ticket after back from my hols.

I'm doing this (assuming the car is back from The Fettler). Given that I can see the control tower at Thurleigh (*) from my back garden, it's a shame I've not been there before.

You presume correctly, just fitted a new clutch so need to give it a run before the next race !
Will be very mindful of other drivers on track though.

Cracking. The sun shone, everyone was very nice, I was very slow and spun 4 times. I shall do that again. Not the spinning bit. The trackday. Can you tell I'm very tired and a bit pissed?

It was fun, I managed to take several miles out of the tyres & brakes on the beemer, and was really surprised at just how tail happy it was - first time on a dry trackday. Shame it didn't rain

One thing though:

So what happened there then?

easytrack did the same to me last month on an evening trackday. sold it as GT and we went on SW circuit.

i didnt complain though as it was wet and only 40 cars so we would have been lost on the GT circuit and SW was mush better under the circumstances.
