I would appreciate any recommendations for a driving day experience with Minis, preferably within an hour or two of London. Looking to line up one of these days as a pressie for the g/f.

cheers

Have a look at www.benelliottracing.com

They should be able to do just what you want.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply Melindi. The full day JCW mini tuition looks great, but I must admit it was a bit more than I was looking for.

I should have added to my original post that I'm looking around the £200 price range.

Rockingham (Corby) is not much more than an hour from London so this may suite :

It's about half your budget so you could so something else also, pre-booked or on the day.

£200? Even if you went to Hertz and hired something and then came to the track I think you'd struggle... not that I'd suggest such bad behaviour.

True, but I am just looking for a driving experience with a some laps around the circuit and a lap or two driven by an instructor. The £99 one at Corby fits the bill (thanks Malcolm), I was just hoping to find something with a couple more laps.

For a full day on track with a Mini Cooper S and an instructor I would guess £600+ is required.

It'll have to be the very glamourous Corby then...

Enjoy.
