Will I be allowed to put out my data logger lap-timing beacon?

I very much doubt it: BaT usually insist on absolutely no form of timing at all (including use of sundials ).

Doesn't look like it, here is a quote from the Bookatrack PDF www.BookaTrack.com/fol2003.pdf

"BookaTrack.com covers public Liability Insurance, but this precludes any form or timing of competitive driving. Any persons caught driving competitively or using timing equipment shall be removed from the circuit and no refund will be due."

See you there

Cheers

Timing is forbidden for H&S and insurance reasons.

Don't ask, don't tell.. simple.

You've let the cat out of the bag now though..

Check with Jonny but doubt it if it has a timing beacon - too obvious.

Mine uses GPS and have had the ok on it after Jonny checked with underwriter. Provided I also download and analyse at end of day away from track.
