I'm contemplating doing some circuit racing in the U.K., possibly Formula Ford, so am looking for a good racing driving school. Have done a couple of track days which I thoroughly enjoyed. Does anyone here know the relative merits of the schools? which would be best to go to? (I'm aware both Castle Combe and Silverstone have racing schools and there are no doubt others).

Well Silverstone is the best "school" as such in the UK, to teach you to race. I started out my car racing there doing the 5 day course and it was a great experience. Other schools that I know of are not up to the standard of Silverstone, Brands Hatch used to be quite good, but do not know about it these days.

I can offer you in car tuition at track days or out of car and data tuition on test days for your single seater. I can certainly get the best out of you, to go racing.

If you want a programme worked out, pop me an e-mail. If not, have fun racing!
