Folembray Eurotunnel Details
Discussion
Hmmm, well I think I'm on the ferry, not sure what time, and I think I'm driving a fiesta over there, to meet an elise that BAT are bringing for me to track.
However I'm a little concerned as BAT still haven't actually given me any details on what the arrangements are yet! I'm expecting a call back from Johnny today / tomorrow to sort it out, so I'm sure all will be fine.
Not really BAT's fault as all the complications came late on due to the untimely death of the 'Folembray Taxi', but I'm getting a little worried now as it's all approaching rather fast!
Still, either I'll have an elise, or I'll be hammering a Fiesta 1.25 Zetec round the track, which me mum won't be pleased about at all as it's hers!...
If you guys get any details on the ferry crossings, drop me a mail please!

Well, I said it was a Caravan... hopefully I shall get away with it! I even got a special deal for caravan saddos I think.
Alex said: I was originally going by ferry as I was under the impression that you could not take a trailer onto Eurotunnel. Apparently that is not the case, so I am going on the Chunnel.

just been checking out the eurostar site as I've never travelled on the eurostar to France. However I don't seem to be able to find any info on how long you ahve to be there before the load time (6pm) to get on board?
Anyone know the drill / can point me to the right page on the website?

You want the EURO TUNNEL site not the Eurostar site!
I'm pretty sure that it's possible to park up on the side of the road just before the ticket booths, or else there's the car park by the shops just after the ticket booths.
I'll be in a silver Freelander with a big white (and moss covered!) box trailer, so feel free to say hi if you see me.
I'll also be bringing loads of tools, jack, axle stands and a generator, which I'll be more than happy to lend to anyone if needed.
