Not last weekend, on the autoroutes at least. I took the usual Lille / Liege / Vervins route (E42 from Lille). However, I was warned about a big diversion around Gerolstein, so I bypassed Prum staying on the Autobahn down towards Bitburg, and then picking up the 257 to Daun and then onto Kelberg and the 'Ring. The autobahn is de-restricted, so quite fun, and the 257 is a really excellent road.

Kind regards

They do this quite frequently, especially when there is public lapping shortly after the conclusion of a race.
In weekday evening sessions it is also common, as they'd rather not have to remove their equipment only to bring it back the following morning.

The most interesting, though, has to be when they do circuit repairs with large lorry, crane, etc. sitting on the track during a race.
Now that's an eek eek

I could scarcely believe it myself, but there they were.
They did have a few cones out and a local yellow, however. Safety first!
