Could there be a market in this?

Not so long ago i started my own business organising events, at the moment it is more a part-time venture but the business is slowly growing and so are my ideas for the business. What i really wanted to do all along was tailor made track and driving experiences though i'm not so sure of the market.

What i need to know is would anyone be interested in having days completely tailored to you? Either a day at Donington, a long weekend at the 'ring or Le Mans, with the accomodation you want, the car you'd like to drive (or your own), routes planned, even restaurants booked etc.

Any suggestions welcome.

Regards,
Nicola

Track rental would be the problem. Its thousands and thousands for most circuits. So you either need to "Tailor make" the same circuit/day for lots of people at once or "Tailor make" a day for someone where they join in an already organised date.

There's room for some original services in the market, though, I think. I do all my own organising for everything because I enjoy the planning aspect at least as much as the doing part...but other time-short people would no doubt buy a service. Interesting idea. What did you have in mind?

I was thinking Tailor made as in join an already organised event or say if someone wants to drive to Monaco but doesn't want the hassle of booking accomodation, ferries etc. for me to organise it all.

Le Mans could be another one, even incorporate it into 2 weeks in France via the best roads or whatever the client wants from the Le Mans experience another idea was to focus on Novice track events so they know they can just turn up and everything is booked already.

It sounds like a good idea to me. But then I wouldn't use it.

Hi There

Have been thinking of something similar for Le Mans as I have a Base Venue very near the circuit. At Le Mans the problems are largely cost and forward planning it seems. Circuit time is limited and expensive and has to be paid for about a year or in advance...so a risk if you don't get the numbers together.

Honestly? Don't bother. Seen it done so many times before - never works.
