yes I will be along this time with a couple of my mates, not sure if Chaz my son will be bringing the skyline as it is in the paint shop. As for me I will be bringing the old Nissan again, and as always praying for rain to even things up a bit (sorry to you guys without a roof)Ha Ha Ha laugh

Mind you, I have just been given tonight a complete set of ally rims, so if I get time I will get some sticky tyres so I can keep up in the dry driving

Looking forward to seeing you all again, so come on over and have a chat if you like.

Ok finally book my first track day so look forward to meeting you all, and getting some advice. One question on insurance do you bother as i have been told that these events are well marshaled and most people respect their cars and others ,cheers .John

they are well run, safe and people do respect their cars and others but accidents can happen, if your car is of significant value (that being an amount you would rather not or cannot affort to lose) then I would insure it

Just booked myself on to this now Lots of ordering and scheduling to get it ready now!!

It's my first full length day so I think I will book a tutition session on the day. Doesn't seem to bad value £20 for 20mins. I've done a couple of hours before at bedford and several 'carnage', sorry 'action' days at Combe so looking forward to this. Hope the weather is good.

Welcome aboard Rich, always nice to have new faces come along. Well you will notice a big difference here at Abingdon, carnage is not on the menu! It won't take you long to spot me as I have "Pistonheads" well and truly emblazened over the Nissan rotate, So come and say Hi, and join in the fun.

I think this will be my last one there untill the rains come again, so october onwards I suspect. Fancy doing Lyden Hill again in the summer, haven't done it for a couple of years or so, but that was sprint racing in a tuned 200sx. very technical circuit that needs a lot of respect!!! I wonder if Natasha and hubby have thought about running an event there as you can hire the track for half a day (mornings) sharing it with racers in the afternoon.

Well why did i take so long to book a track day.Had a great day ,even switched the PSM off at the end of the day ,car felt great with it off until i spun ,oooops no damage ,just put a bigger grin on my face ,iam hooked .Didnt get a chance to put names to faces ,so next time .Never did get that insurance but they are run well and all drivers seem considerate of others on track so iam of to book my next one.

Only just spotted this thread, but I was there today! Not driving, sadly (not sure the Spider would be up to it), but a very happy passenger in my bro-in-law's S1 Exige, and the red Q-plate Westfield. Did have a nice 10 min blat in Jason Coffin's Elise with Anthony, well worth the £30. Wasn't quite as warm and sunny as the weather forecast suggested tho'!
