Decibel of a Golf GTI

I'm taking my sons GTI to Thruxton on Monday. Noise level is 90 dB, I am assuming a standard Mk 3 gets under this?

90db is dafly quiet, but should do

My Mk2 valver tracker has full jetex & spits flames still gets circa 86db- 89db static, depending on which tracks noise tester & when both at 4.5k

Thanks, thought it would be fine, don't want him to have to gome home early on his first track day, that would be very dissapointing!
