Weather held up nicely...
Got black flagged in the morning, so spent the rest of the day lifting and short shifting
past the mics

thankyou very much for that passenger ride glenn. The RS is awesome and worth every penny. High speed grip levels and stability are mind blowing.
2 years of being sensible and then Im there. Still, I have to say my car felt great today. I had a really great last session
chasing John in Sean Ds. old RS. I think I was out there for an hour! and I used half a tank of juice. Bear in mind, Ive got the 90
litre tank! My brakes never faded and felt good right the way through! Hail to my 4 pots on £80 textars. (its those cooling ducts im
telling you...they are magic) See you soon. Are you doing either of the April 9th or 14th Bedford dates?

I saw you and John Having the tussle, looked like you were well into the swing of it...that's
what makes a good trackday IMO...
I fancy a trackday over Easter for sure, but alas Bedford will be a last resort, lifting/shortshifting
for the Mics is heartbreaking tbh....
Cheers

What he said..
We got lucky with the weather yesterday guys after seeing the weather today.
There were some great cars there and the track etiquette was very good from what I experienced. The good thing I found about Bedford was there were plenty of fast sections I could let the fast cars past on. However, I avoided the times when the Vauxhall boys were on track just in case!
Glenn, you're car looked fantastic on track even if you had to keep it cool. You might have been better going to the RS day at Oulton the day before? I managed to get passenger laps in a similar orange GT3RS which was also probably the quickest car on track that day (once the 996 cup car took itself out on the pit lane wall ).

You won't have to wait that long. Easytrack announced that by popular demand there will be another RS day in October.
Official photos from Bedford should be on trackphoto.co.uk this week (I got mine put on a CD while I was there). I'm not sure if there were any keen amateurs about on the day?
Great to meet you Tif that was awesome little "ding dong" - we must have been out for at least an hour (did 3/4 of a tank I'd literally just filled up) - incredible - bit silly though I didnt learn as much as I could have done I should have tucked in behind you as there were a few sections you were definitely quicker, also your brakes seemed to hold out better than mine, thats probably down to technique/brake ducts.. - let me know when your next doing a Bedford day I'll be there.. anyway thanks for that really enjoyable..
PhatGixer - Your a nutter - good to meet you too!! See you at a track soon...

Hi Finfast, were you in the RS with black wheels? Nice to meet you too.
Those Toyos you were running were so soft that I have enough rubber to make half a tyre on the front of my car!!! You car looked like it had a nice setup. I noticed you had some red inserts in the rear wing struts to raise the rear and give more downforce..Do they make a noticeable difference?

Red rs/Black wheels - twas I...
The car was so badly set up before that I couldnt tell you whether or not the red inserts make a significant difference but according to the powers that be:
the red inserts can add upto 30kg of downforce proved during wind tunnel testing in Deutschland - the ones I had were four degs for the dry and can be purchased from JZM and then you'll need eights degs for when its wet..

nice to meet you too John. That was the longest session out Ive ever had and my left foot is still aching because of it.
Mo (my friend with the NSX) and I have already booked up the Goldtrack date on the 9th April
Bank holiday monday.
Hopefully we will see you there. (a few other PHers are going including PetrolTed!!)
