Which is best for a Tiger Cat E1.

Your experiences please. Many fast road use, possible track day this year. Will only do around 2,000 miles in a year.

Cheers

Track biased A048'S every time for me.Fine on the road, but with limited longevity, awesome on track.

A048 and A032 have very similar performance / wear, in fact the 48 was introduced to replace the 32 so not even sure you can still get the 32 or not?

As to the Toyo / Yoko comparison, Ive not tried 888's but from various discussions on forums Ive deduced that there isnt a lot to split them either, especially on a light Locaterfield type car.

Ive sampled all 3 tyres... as suggested 32s are getting on now so any you find could be hard and past there best..

48s were the replacement tyre and I think they come in different compounds , the ones I drove on seemed to heat up slightly quicker than the 888s I now use.. there isnt a lot between all three imho..

fwiw I went for 888s as they are the cheapest...
