I've booked a trip to the Nurburgring leaving Thursday 5th , returning Sunday 8th. Is anyone else planning to go? And if so, would you be interested in some instruction - I may book Stephane Clepkens for half a day (ring specialist).

I'm not going this easter, but basically everyone else who likes cars and the 'ring Will be going. Prepare for lots of closures.

It's lots of fun, but the track is usually really really busy.

LOL, *everyone* is planning to go. I'll be there but not really for the driving - I'll be sitting up at Adeneau Forst with a BBQ, a case of beer, and a video camera to enjoy the carnage :-)

Now now, plenty of room at AF for everyone. The best seat will be any form of beer cooler.

Well, thanks guys - I knew it would be busy, but wasn't expecting carnage! Hopefully I'll have a better time than last time - I crashed my 911 GT3 in the wet at the uphill off-camber right-hander after the bridge - Ex Muhle? Classic lift-off oversteer.

Do you still have the GT3? - I will be there with brother and Dad in blue caterham 7 - It is our first time, and also my first trackday (I am passengering). I will look out for you...

Yep, Ex Muhle, actually I think I remember that incident! Were you following an M3 prior to that?

Some creative crashing done at that corner. I arrived there once to find a 3D Jigsaw of a Skyline on the track.

gf, get on the Northloop and Ringers forums, make contact with some regulars and set up some pax laps - its a BIG help to get a look at things from the pax seat where you can look around without the stress of watching for fast traffic comming through etc.

I'll be there in a black elise, say hi.

Take the blade apart and put it in the T5. Sorted thumbup

This has the duel benefit of not only allowing you to have both the bike and the car at the ring, but may also save the armco the trouble of dismantling the bike for you teacher

Are you the black Elise with dutch plates that I had fun with for a lap last easter? i was in the dark blue Honda S2000. We were following each other at various parts of the lap. That was awesome fun. If it was you.

Yep that was me, I remember it well, absolutely cracking lap
Fantastic to fly around in formation with some random car you meet out on the track eh?

Should have caught up for a chat in the carpark & trade some pax laps. You going to be back this Easter?

Not going this easter. i can only afford one trip this year and so I've decided to go in July when it's hopefully a bit quieter.

I think I tried to find you after the lap, but it's a bit hit and miss, you could be anywhere

I think it's the weekend of the truck GP I'm going, although I haven't decided yet. But trades in PAX laps are always welcome

I think that was my favourite lap of easter. Might not have been the quickest, but you don't always have to be flat out to have fun.

Good plan, the whole easter circus is fun but the queueing gets annoying. How many laps would you budget to do in a trip?

I'll be there in June too :-)

Probably was in the depths of lapfever so either straight out on track again or down at the petrol station
