Does anybody have any experience of Javelin trackdays: www.javelintrackdays.co.uk/ ?

I have my eye on an upcoming trackday, but I have never used them before so I wondered what the driving standards are normally like.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mike…

i've done a couple of days at elvington with javelin.

both times i really enjoyed their days. they have the normal trackday rules about overtaking etc, but they seem to enforce the rules sensibly. (ie: harrasing a novice driver is not allowed, but more experienced drivers are allowed to have a bit of a play)

good range of cars were there from £300 nails upwards, no very high end stuff - but it was elvi in the winter.

i'll be using them again

I did a day with them at Brands Indy recently and despite the fact that there was
driver assesment for a Le Mans team entry next year going on,
their excellent briefing meant that despite the huge range of pace and experience,
on the whole, the day went very well.

Just booked cadwell on 28th march with Javelin. Just hope the car is ready.. I wouldnt have thought it would make a load of difference who a trackday is booked thro as its the cicuit that does the organising, marshalling etc. Cadwell always been good in my experience.

I believe that the briefing is done by Andy Curtis, the same chap that does the Goldtrack briefings. Very good, best briefer i have experienced.

I've done numerous trackdays with these guys and they are 1st rate. Very well organised trackdays with sensible rules and a sensible way of applying them.
All the organising guys are very approachable and easy to get on with.

Yes, concur with AJI, have worked for them and they are top guys, good organisation. Driving Standards have also been very good on the days i've attended, they have many regulars who come to most of their days and they have also seemed very social events.
