Any B&B type recommendations?

No B&B's that I can think of, but as you are near West Midlands Airport there are loads of hotels along the lines of Hliday Inn Express and Travelodge.

I've stayed at the Paddock Hotel in Melbourne village and can recommend it. Friendly, excellent breakfast, close to the circuit, good rooms (ensuite).
There's also the Melbourne view hotel right outside the paddock entrance, but I haven't used it so can't comment....

I've stayed at the Priest House at Castle Donington - not that cheap but comfortable and a nice spot. Can usually book on lastminute.com
