I'll be there.

what advice do you need ???

The one corner of the whole circuit which can make or break you is woodcote (i think), it's a very
deceptive right just before the pit straight, and it WILL scare you if you get it wrong, especially
in the wet eek they warn people every week about it, but there is an amazing amount of big hits there.

The rest of the circuit isn't too bad, it's quite tough on brakes, and takes a while to learn as
it is pretty flat and featureless..

hope this helps

Good luck

It's very fast, very technical and rewards smoothness.

Glenn is dead right about Woodcote. Sometimes Andy feels like an old Granny in the briefings because he does bang on about it a bit. Thing is, once the weather gets a bit less than perfect he's too often proved right. A corner to be treated with extreme respect.

Thanks Glenn.
I had read that Silverstone has the ability to shrink a car's ability due to the width of the track and general size. Will seek ye out in the pits and say hi (its an Orange 997 yes?).

Head for the Paddock, then park up with rest of cars outside pit garages or near paddock Bar.

then wander to pit wall, and enjoy

Bring a helmet, and i'll take yer for a spin

Great, will amble over, make some comments about your wheels (as if you haven't heard any before) then mumble something about a slipping clutch slowing me down

day starts at 9, and will go on until around 5pm ish.

you will need to sign on at race control as a passenger, for insurance purposes, and they will
give you a wrist band to allow you to ride as a passenger (£20 for this).
