Any one heading there over the Easter weekend? Should be there in the new motor along with a couple of mates

Just wondering whether to keep an eye out for any PH'ers?

A couple of mates? LOL, there will be a squillion people there at Easter, should we blame you? Seriously tho, I'll be there. I think I'll just set up a video camera at Adenau Forst and spectate :-)

Is this a closed track day e.g. RMA or the usual 'open for all'??

Touristenfahrten, ie open to the general public for pay as you go laps. Open 4 full days 6,7,8,9th April.

It will be so busy and closed for crashes you'll get more laps in on a 2hr weekday evening session but the spectacle will be fun :-)

Be aware that in addition to the usual mix of people who are very comitted and those who don't know what their rear veiw mirror is for, given the time of year you're going, you could experience snow. This happened to me back in 2001 and has also happened a couple of times since.

Seriously if it's your first time over there, the place is now so ram jammed on UK bank holiday weekends, you may struggle to get much meaningful track time. You do however then have the option of the local hostelries, which are excellent....

This Easter will be my fourth attempt to be at the Ring in dry weather. Rule of thumb is that any event I put my name to guarantees rain. Also, I got myself an Atom last year, which appears to double the chance of rain as well

Great.

gfwilliams, same plan - see you there Friday morning! (hopefully I won't be providing the entertainment down by A-Forst...!)

It's my first time, so I am going to be looking forward to it. We are trailering it down. Have done trackdays before, so this is the next step apparently.
