Unfortunetly it wont be ready for the start of the season but it is promising work will be completed sometime mid summer.

Layout is here: http://bookatrack.com/-PG?jonny&3

There is another picture somewhere on Norlog which shows an aerial photograph of the circuit (during the modifications so it looks like a building site), with the layout of the new circuit superimposed on top of it. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find it at the moment!

i had a leaflet showing the new layouts. no date on it though, looks like there's four different circuits planned, the longest being about 2 miles. it also said there's going to be plenty of run off areas...that'll be the sea then laugh

It's all very exciting!

Here is the latest flyer (from the Autosport show) :- http://users.bookatrack.com/jonny/ang

News from the horses mouth (spoke to the circuit this afternoon) is that they are a few weeks ahead of schedule. Absolute deadline for completion is May Bank Holiday Weekend.

The circuit is 12m wide and has some *serious* corners.

I for one, am extremely excited about the prospect of driving the first all-new, purpose built circuit the UK has seen in a long time.

As if by magic - the first confirmed days have been released and are available to book on our website. These aren't necessarily going to be the first *ever* days on the new circuit - if they finish ahead of schedule there will be some May days available, too. If anyone books the June date(s) and we DO get offered some earlier dates, they can of course transfer.

here's another showing current state:

The coastal looks like it might be the most fun (although no School )

I reckon the international might lunch brakes on the bigger cars.

National might end up being most similar in character to the old circuit.

Either way I'm pretty excited looking at that

it looks a bit flat now, now hills or rises like the old circuit. maybe it just looks that way in the photo though?

Think thats more now to the angle and height of the picture...

its not like they've dug the hill side out that much. it'll still be the climb up around school to abbots on the national, with coastal and international taking a longer sweep, then a few corners later the left hander (to head up towards the old hair pin) is going to be dropping down again by the looks of things before that long straight to the hairpin

i wonder where the '10 degree banked corner will be.. guess going to be the hairpin on the national/international

I can't wait for this track to open. Im only a few miles away!

Does anyone know what they're doing with the access road, as this is far too small to accommodate the new circuit and facilities?
