4x4 Experience Days???
Discussion
If of any use, pm me your address and I will send you a voucher for you and 2 friends to one of the Land Rover experience centres for 1/2 day (which I think you can extend to a full day).
You get to use their cars and get a little instruction into the bargain. Great fun, especially when the weather is like this!

Hello ever helpful PH'ers!
Me and a friend are planning on doing an off road 4x4 day, but I just thought I'd ask in here if anyone can recommend any from experience???
Any ideas, tips & suggestions welcomed, also what sort of price should we expect to pay?
Cheers.

It depends if you want to take part in one of the clubs off roading day, that is cheaper. But the landrover experience days are good but if you book on line- you can get last min deals.
There's land rover experience centres all over the place, I put a load of photos from my visit here:

and blogged about it too if you want to read it

No idea how it compares to the other days though.

mastiff where in north london are you based?
Was this meant for me? As I think Mastiff is based in Surrey. If so I'm based in Archway/Hornsey.
I have had the good fortune to visis WhiteCliff last year and found them absolutely brilliant. I run a Disco and was not only looking forward to the fun of the mud but discovering how and when to use the amazing capabilities of the car.
They could be described as a little 'back street' or even amateur due to the lack of usual corporate gimics and facilities but they actually compete 4X4s as well as teach so they sure know their stuff. They use a quarry just over the Severn and I will be going back for the advanced day as well as organising a group booking.
On the other hand, and you couldnt be further than the Whitecliffe experience, I have always wanted to try a Land Rover experience! I am sure they really do know what they are doing but with all the trimmings as well (albeit probably 4 times the price of WhiteCliffe). Any clue to the vouchers that were mentioned? Any one know of any 'deals' on these?
